Burnt Mill score high in Maths Feast!

Year 10 students George Beacroft, Oliver Newman, Hayleigh Luck and Michael Prince represented Burnt Mill in the Further Maths Support Programme's 'Maths Feast.' The event took place on the 29th February in Barnwell School, Stevenage.
The aim of the competition is to provide an enriching and enjoyable activity with students working together to solve challenging and interesting mathematical problems. The rounds are designed to test a wide range of mathematical and communication skills. Burnt Mill were the only team to receive a certificate for scoring highly in all rounds of the competition. They placed 4th out of the 20 schools taking part.
