Burnt Mill's Harry Orton heads to Chef competition final.
Harry won the schools heats of Future Chef 2016 on 11th January, competing against 12 other students from schools in Essex and Hertfordshire in the local heat at Passmores Academy. Harry was 1 of 2 overall winners for the heat and will progress to the regional finals in London in February.
The industry chef judges said his methods of working and overall taste and presentation of the dishes pipped him over the winning line! Harry prepared an ‘Aussie Burger with the Lot’ and a ‘Mango Passion Fruit Chilled dessert’. Harry is in year 11, studying GCSE Food, and has also just completed Junior Chef Academy
