Year 6 Transition Summer School
Place allocation for our Year 6 Transition Summer School have now been confirmed by letter to all student who have requested to take part.
Can we please remind parents/carers that Summer School will start at 8:30 am on the day your child has been allocated and that it is essential that your child is collected by 12:00pm as classrooms that are being used for Summer school need to be cleaned ready for the following day.
Due to the current restrictions in please we are unable to offer food and drinks to students attending the Summer Schools. Students are allowed to bring in with them a nut free snack and/or a non-fizzy drink or a bottle of water for break-time.
Dress code is non-uniform casual or sports wear. Sensible shoes such as trainers or plimsoles. No flipflops, sliders or open toed sandles please.
To ensure the safety of all students and staff the school will continue to have restrictive guidelines in place for everyone who is on the school site during our Summer School. When your child enters the school site, they will be asked to follow all instructions from members of staff.
It is essential that you are available to collect your son/daughter throughout the duration of the Summer School day, in case for any reason we may have to send them home.
The safety of our students is paramount and should for any reason your child not be attending their allocated Summer School day it is essential that you notify the school by 8:15 am by emailing Mr Bolt at Boltd@burntmill.essex.sch.uk
